Born in Germany to a Finnish mother and a Hungarian father, Mike was raised in Austria and trained in the UK. A mix that didn’t just give him multiple teams to root for at the Olympics, but a perspective that refuses to think in borders. Useful in life, even more in advertising.

Mike started his career at BBH in London before returning to Austria, where he worked at DDB and Jung von Matt, where he is now Partner and Executive Creative Director. There, he became one of the country’s most awarded creatives and helped prove that world-class work doesn’t depend on market size. He has been quietly underlining that point with fourteen Cannes Lions and a collection of other weird, shiny objects.

He has served on juries at Eurobest and Dubai Lynx, occasionally helping separate genuinely great ideas from very expensive case films.

His most meaningful work, however, happened off brief. Two children, born in 2017 and 2021. While his wife did the heavy lifting, he still found his way into the credits.
