Biography
Monique Francis is the co-founder and CEO of Primera Sports, a women of color-owned and led sports agency redefining athlete representation through a human-centered model made for every era of an athlete's career. A culture-first marketer with expertise across entertainment, brand marketing, and media, Francis has spent her career helping clients connect with audiences, tell their stories, and drive meaningful impact. She brings that lens to her leadership at Primera.
As HOORAE Media's first Head of Marketing, Francis oversaw brand and integrated marketing for Issa Rae's media company spanning film, television, music, audio, and talent management. She led HOORAE's award-winning campaign behind One of Them Days, its first studio feature and a history-making theatrical success, alongside Sony Pictures and MACRO; laid the foundation for HOORAE's successful return to original digital content production; and helped earn HOORAE recognition as one of Fast Company's Brands That Matter.
For more than a decade at United Talent Agency and Creative Artists Agency, Francis built brand strategies, integrated campaigns, and social impact initiatives for The Coca-Cola Company, JPMorgan Chase, BODYARMOR, General Mills, Petco, Canada Goose, and the Alzheimer's Association, among others.
Francis is a founding member of Social Change Fund United, an organization advancing equity in entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation for Black and Brown communities.
