Rafa has over 30 years of experience in the advertising industry across Uruguay, Colombia, and Mexico. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading global networks including Dentsu, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, Havas, Leo Burnett, Young & Rubicam, and VML, and spent 10 years founding and leading Sparkling, his own independent agency in Latin America.

From 2008 to 2013, he served as Regional Creative Director for the Movistar account across Latin America. He was named Best Creative Director three times in Uruguay and once in Mexico at El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and has been recognized by Adlatina and LatinSpots as one of the region’s leading creative directors.

His work has been awarded at major international festivals, including 7 Cannes Lions, as well as D&AD, Clio, One Show, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and FIAP. He also served as President of the Uruguayan Advertising Circle and has participated as a jury member at leading festivals across the region.
