Biography
Richard is a Group Executive Creative Director of VML Melbourne and Sydney.
He has worked in the communications industry for over two decades and at only two agencies: Clemenger BBDO for 23 years and now VML for the last 18 months.
His work has been recognised at award shows around the world. He has won Gold Cannes Lions for multiple pieces of work and even has the honour of having work submitted into the permanent collection at MoMA in New York.
Richard was pivotal as a leader in the creative department that propelled Clemenger to win Campaign Brief and Mumbrella Creative Agency of the Decade in 2020 and Cannes and D&AD agency of the year in 2017.
Richard has lectured the next generation of creatives at Award School, presented at SXSW in Sydney and judged award shows locally and internationally.
None of these achievements are recognised at home where he is the father of three daughters and the worst Mario Carter in the house.
