Born in Los Angeles, California, he was immersed in music from an early age, inspired by his mother, a local piano instructor. A Japanese-American composer, he specializes in creating original music for visual media, approaching composition like painting—where each note, harmony, and instrument contributes to the ‘Color of Music.’ His work enhances storytelling, adding emotional depth and artistic dimension to every project.

He has served as Managing Director and Creative Director of MassiveMusic Tokyo since 2017. With a strong international perspective, he now produces and oversees more than 200 pieces of advertising music each year, reaching audiences worldwide. His guiding principle is simple: ‘To make the world SOUND better.’

He is also an active industry juror, serving on panels such as CICLOPE Global (Berlin), CICLOPE APAC, shots Awards Asia Pacific (Music & Sound Design), and the AICP Awards in New York for both Sound Mix and Original Music categories. He was previously recognized by the Clio Awards in the Music & Sound category.
