Biography
Shelley Sorensen is a seasoned communications professional with nearly 25 years' experience helping world-class brands earn attention, build trust and connect with audiences that matter most.
As an EVP at Dentsu Creative, Shelley champions the agency's work across a range of clients. She spent nearly 13 years leading strategic communications for brands like Walmart, Sam's Club, Barkman Honey and Kraft Heinz. Today, she leads a team delivering Hilton's global influencer and creator programs.
Curious by nature, Shelley thrives on solving complex business challenges with creativity and strategic insight. A firm believer in stepping outside her comfort zone, she has stitched together a career shaped by a few left turns and a broad set of experiences - growing her expertise across advertising, PR and influencer marketing.
Shelley got her start on an agency team producing ad campaigns for Hasbro toys and she hasn't stopped chasing cultural impact since. Throughout her career, she has helped brands find their place in the conversation, with moments that range from quietly powerful to unmistakably viral, including helping turn Patti LaBelle's sweet potato pie into a national obsession.
Shelley lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with her husband and three children.
