Suchitra Gahlot is National Creative Director at McCann India.

Her career spans over 29 years across ndia and Southeast Asia, with leadership roles at Ogilvy Singapore, SapientNitro India, Wieden+Kennedy Delhi and FCB India.

She has led creative and writing functions across markets, including South East Asia for Ogilvy Singapore. At SapientNitro India, she set up the agency's New Media Lab capability, one of the first of its kind in India, and served on the Worldwide Creative Council for a five-year tenure. Her work has been recognised by creative and effectiveness juries, and featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch and CNN.

In parallel, Suchitra has built a two-decades-long contemporary art practice centred on conceptual installation. Her work explores the quiet tensions that shape everyday experience. She also has a design practice with a strong focus on cabinetry, tapestry and small objects.

She has shown work in India and internationally, including multiple editions of India Art Fair, India Design Fair and Architecture Digest's Design Showcase. She looks at ideas through art, writing, design and technology, with a sharp eye for what feels authentic.
