Biography
Victor Nguyễn-Long was supposed to be an Electrical Engineer (at least according to his Georgia Tech diploma), but to the astonishment of his Vietnamese American parents, he discovered marketing and never looked back. Twenty-five years later, he serves as Group Social Creative Director in Google's Brand Studio where he helps define Google-grade creative standards for social and influencer content across the enterprise while also producing brand-defining content for its flagship social channels.
He started his career across the street from his alma mater at The Coca-Cola Company before going on to lead collegiate marketing at Red Bull, digital and social media marketing for Nike Sportswear, and experience innovation at Audi of America. During the 2020 U.S. election cycle, he took a break from marketing to join the Democratic super PAC ACRONYM and lead creative for their $100 million digital-only campaign to support the Biden-Harris presidential ticket. Before finding his way to Google, Victor was a freelance Creative Director and Strategist whose clients included YouTube, Nike, Jordan, Converse, Meta, P&G, and Uber Eats. He and his family call the Washington, DC area home where he remains involved in progressive politics, activism, and advocacy.
