He began his career in journalism with major Czech news outlets. Before moving into PR, he was the editor-in-chief of a weekly industry magazine for the marketing and communications industries. He was also a promoter of popular musicals and an advertising director at a leading Czech bank. He has worked in public relations since 2003, specialising in corporate communications, crisis and issues management, financial PR, litigation PR, and other specialised consultancy disciplines. As managing partner and co-owner of Bison & Rose, one of the largest PR brands in the Czech Republic, he works with national industry bodies and is a past president and, most recently, chairman of the Ethics Committee at APRA. His campaigns have won numerous awards at Czech, Slovak and European PR competitions. He was awarded Person of the Year 2018 by ASCOPA (the Czech Association of PR Professionals) and the Industry Achievement Award 2022 from APRA (the Czech PR Association). He also shares his insights on PR with students at Metropolitan University Prague. In his free time, he researches his family’s roots in various parts of Europe, drawing inspiration from their history and culture. He is also active in a non-profit organisation specialising in paediatric palliative care.
